There are seven billion people in the world. Five hundred, twenty-eight million people live in North America. Three hundred and twenty million live in the United States. Three million people live in Kansas. With this many people living in the world, there is going to be someone who is almost the complete opposite. Does this make that other person weird or strange?

I am going to talk about two of them: Christianity and atheism. Christianity is the belief that Jesus came down from heaven, and He died on the cross for our sins. It known world-wide, for the most part. There are people in the world who are persecuted for their beliefs. Persecution is basically the act of being murder for believing in something. Paul, from the bible, is an example of persecution. The bible does not say exactly how he died, but it is believed that he was beheaded by the Roman.
This is an extreme case of discrimination against religious views. Nowadays, persecution is a little less common. I have not been completely made fun of for my beliefs, but I do know that some people see me as being weird for being a Christian. In today’s society, people are scared of being judged by their peers. They will hide who they really are to avoid embarrassment, torment, and in some cases, death. People are judgemental.
