World War T Two years ago on a small farm in northern Ohio, lived a farmer, and his 401 turkeys. He had raised them since September, to be sold for Thanksgiving this November. It didn’t take long for the turkeys to realize that they are being raised to die. Every day they thought about ways to change their future, but none of their ideas were good enough. But one day a turkey whose name was Tim came up with an idea, They would escape their coop by digging under the chicken wire with a plastic spoon that they had found covered in dirt inside of their coop. They dug and dug until they got about halfway under the fence when the flimsy plastic spoon snapped, and they knew that they had to come up with a new plan.

About a week later Tim came

Once they were out they sprinted silently towards the window, and stood on each other's backs so that it would be easier and quieter than jumping for it. They were lucky, and realized that the window was already open, which would buy them some extra time.

Tim climbed in, and helped to pull up the other turkeys, then they all ran quietly toward the garage door. They pushed the door open slowly making sure they didn’t make a lot of noise, They were successful, and were silent. They searched through the farmer’s workbench looking to find the wire cutters for 2 and a half hours, until John said quietly here they are, and they all rushed towards him, grabbing the cutters, and started at the door.

They left the same way as they had come, when they made their way out of the window they saw all of the turkeys standing, and waiting at edge of the coop celebrating, as they had seen the wire cutters under Tim’s arm. So they all fled out of quickly, the smallest last, then waited in a group around Tim and his

One by one they rushed through the fence, but right as the last turkey had escaped Farmer Joe had realized it and started charging at them screaming You get back here!”. They all ran into the woods behind the farm, and and hid from cruel Joe, some hid in trees, and some lied in piles of leave with their backs up, to make their feathers look like leaves. Tim had hidden hiding in a tree as he saw Joe creep through the trees with his rifle in hand. He shouted to him ,”Hey Joe you know that there is a reason we ran away.”. Joe briskly turned and looked, but couldn’t find a single turkey. Tim kept talking,” I don’t want to die, and neither should you, it isn’t fair” Joe kept looking. “We are tired of our families getting slaughtered every year.”. And with that the farmer realized his cruelty and apologized, not realizing until then what he had done. He said that he would take them wherever they wanted to go because he knew that he was in debt to them. Tim then said,”I have an idea”, and before they knew it all of the turkeys were on a plane to Honolulu Hawaii. There they created a colony on top of palm trees on the beach with an amazing view of the ocean, Tim sat back slowly, and said,”best Thanksgiving

The Birds takes place on an outlying English coast shortly after World War 2, and on the other hand, Alfred Hitchcock’s version of The Birds occurs in Bodega Bay in a modern era. Although Hitchcock’s adaptation is thrilling because the main characters are separate from the big cities’ protection, Daphne du Maurier’s setting is more enthralling and blood curling because her story happens after one of the most horrendous wars human history has ever seen, and Nat’s family has less hope of government assistance. Daphne du Maurier writes, “…at the far end of the peninsula, where the sea surrounded the farmland on either side” (1). The coast where Nat and his family reside has a queer atmosphere around it, and the reader instantly knows that with the sea surrounding them aid would be difficult to acquire.…
