Have you ever smelt someone smoking near you and thought to yourself, I wish they would go smoke somewhere else. Then you would like to make sales of tobacco to be made illegal. Tobacco use is a big problem in our society, according to the Centers for disease control and prevention (CDC), using tobacco affects nearly every organ in the body lowering your health. Back when Cigarettes were made the people did not know the effects of smoking cigarettes or using tobacco. Now in today's world 480,000 people die every year in the united states due to tobacco, that would equate to every 1 in 5 people (CDC). With all of the bad effects of tobacco the sale and production of it should be made illegal in the United States. In my own life I have experienced the effects of tobacco first hand. When a person does tobacco they know the risks and just assume they are immune to getting the diseases that come right beside tobacco use. When people see all the warnings and still do it that obviously means the warning signs are not great enough. In the market of cigarette sells the owners want to make money so they don't care if people are killing themselves.If you were to smoke cigarettes back in the 19th century would not even be possible.
