Informative Essay On Steve Jobs

On December 5,2016 I watched a TED talk on Steve Job’s he is foremost known as being the owner of the world famous companies Apple, Pixar, and NeXT. Throughout his speech to Stanford's graduating class of 2005 he told three stories about himself, which each included three significant things he learned throughout his lifetime. The first story he shared explained how he dropped out of college because it didn't interest him. Jobs didn't leave school, he stayed and took classes that caught his attention. Soon to follow he created his first company. Going through the whole process, he said it was rough sometimes but he believed in something and that got him through it . He believed that in the end the dots will connect . He stated that “It was impossible to connect the dots in college, but it was very clear looking back.” He also advised the graduates to “trust the dots they will somehow connect your future”. I comply with Jobs on his three points as each point will ensure that you live a contented, successful life, at the end of the day that is everyone's main goal. Some people who don’t concur with everything that Jobs might believe that it’s not very logical to do what he did. For instance, not everyone can just decide to drop out of college after their parents have invested everything they have. Also, if what they love to do isn’t an option, then they would have to go with the next best thing, considering not everyone has the luxury to spend all the time as well as put all the effort into it like Jobs did. Yet I believe that if someone has a goal that they want to accomplish they will have ambition, to do anything it takes to reach it.That goes for anything in life.
