We all know that a sport injuries is the worst thing that can happen to someone, whether you are the athlete or you’re just a viewer of the sport. The injury itself can be acute or very severe. Depending on the sport there can be death in some cases, but it’s highly unlikely. Most causes of sport injuries is the result of over stressing the human body or a wrong move made by the athlete. To an athlete it could be the most difficult point in your life especially if you’re very dedicated. All the hard work that you put in practicing may be for nothing. Although, just because you get an injury, doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world. That moment when its all better and you get back into the sport could be the greatest feeling, but is the injury fully healed? In reality its not. The road to recovery of a sports injury is one of the most time consuming situations that an athlete can go through, but its well invested time. Physical therapy is the only way that you could get back into the sport quicker and stronger. Physical therapy also known as sport rehabilitation helps athlete thoroughly treat pain and and return the injured area to normal mobility and function. Typically it is a good idea to see a physical therapist right after the injury before taking upon yourself to wait off the pain. Some of the main goals to a successful recovery is mobility training, flexibility training, balance training, and joint coordination. The main goal to a perfect recovery is dedication because you have to have a steady schedule through out the week and go to rehab at least 3 times minimum. Some times the process can be aggravating knowing that everything feels alright and you’re going to rehab for nothing, but it will be well worth it when you finally get back to the sport better and stronger than mostly everybody. Before reaching that level of excitement, you have to be cleared by the physical therapist first. Without clearance, it would not be a good idea to go back to playing. Getting clearance from the doctor is like taking a test. The doctor gives multiple task to do involving balance, flexibility, strength, and range of motion. Every singe task has to be passed. Once cleared the physical doctor could release you from treatment. Going back from time to time wouldn’t be such a bad
