For guys, they are rewarded and congratulated when they hook up with multiple women in a short period of time, while girls are called a slut and shamed for it. A lot of guys, older and younger, think that girls are there for them, not their own person. Like “Oh, I have a girlfriend now, she’s mine.” Women and men are created equal and should be treated like so.” Slut shaming, by definition is the act of criticising a woman for her real or presumed sexual activity, or for behaving in ways that someone thinks are associated with her real or presumed sexual activity. A woman’s sexuality is between her and her partner(s), and cannot and should not be presumed by the way she dresses or behaves. The social practice of slut shaming of underage girls is a prime example of misogyny and sexism in high schools- women are condemned and called to task for their (accurate or otherwise) sexual reputations, while men are congratulated for displaying the exact same
