Do you really know who you are going to vote for for this election? A lot of people tend to vote today based off what they have heard about a candidate and that could be the negatives or positives. My informative paper consists of research about different candidates and different office positions. It will talk about the different views on presidential candidates and whose running for what office in the US Senator and US Representatives as well.

You have Donald Trump and Mike Pence, Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine, Darrell Lane Castle and Scott Bradley, Gary Johnson and William Weld, Evan McMullin and Nathan Johnson, Peter Alan Skewes and Michael Lacy and Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka. The Presidential candidate I choose was Hillary Clinton. I always hear about what Hillary Clinton is trying to do towards education and abortion so this was a good time for me to read on her policies towards them both. Hillary Clinton feels abortion continue to be a contentious issue in the United States and she supports providing funds for Planned Parenthood . Hillary Clinton believes there are other routes that can be taken instead of abortions but if so we should keep abortion safe, legal and rare. For me it is difficult to fully choose sides, so I do not want to say I agree and I do not want to say I disagree but abortions are wrong in any and every way, I do not feel abortions are acceptable. Maybe it’s just me, but I cannot take the life of a child that I clearly created. However, I know some babies can be formed by accident, where if its rape or a “slip up”, but taking the life of someone just isn’t right so I am all against abortions. Hillary Clinton is against the connections of teacher evaluations and pay until test results come back. James E. Clyburn, Laura Sterling Prince Charles Mallory, and Rick Piotrowski are the four candidates for the U.S. House. The candidate I chose was James E. Clyburn. On May 13, 2015, the House passed the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. This prohibits abortions from occurring after an unborn child is determined to be 20 weeks or older. It was said if a woman's life is in danger or her pregnancy is the result of rape or incest which has been reported to law enforcement or an appropriate government agency at any time, an abortion may be performed . I agree, abortion should not occur after the unborn child if 20 weeks or older unless rape or incest, if you can produce this baby why not have it. The candidates running for US Senator are Thomas Dixon, Tim Scott, Bill Bledsoe and Rebel Scarborough. Thomas Dixon talks about Gun Violence Prevention; he feels everyone who owns a gun needs a background check on an all weapons. I do agree, gun violence has increased rapidly either from citizens killing each other or police me shooting our citizens. The prevention of gun violence is needed. Tim Scott, T. Caroll Atkinson, Brenda S. Griffith, Betty F. Matthews, Sarah G. Noel, Kathy S. Brown, Mary L. Blunt and James E. Clyburn are incumbents that are running for office.
