All because of the love and growth of the glasses industry they are no longer called “glasses” it is now referred to as “eyewear”. Luxottica owns multiple eyewear businesses such as Lenscrafters, Ray Ban, Oakley, & Eyemed. The largest sunglass hub in the world is Sunglass hut which is also owned by Luxottica. The average price for one of Luxottica’s glasses three hundred dollars. They bought out Ray ban and then took them off the entire market for a little over a year.
