LeBron James has won MVP (Most Valuable Player) 4 times in his career. LeBron has won the NBA championship 2 times in a row with the Miami Heat. LeBron James is one of the top 5 basketball players in the NBA because he plays hard and he does not give up. LeBron James was born on December 30, 1984. His mother’s name was Gloria James. He has been in the NBA for about 12 years. LeBron has played for two teams in the NBA so far. The teams he has played for in his career are the Miami Heat and the Cleveland Cavaliers. He got drafted to the Cavaliers in 2003 but got traded to the Heat in 2010. In 2014, he got traded back to the Cavaliers. He was number 23 for the Cavaliers and number 6 for the Heat. LeBron has three real friends in the NBA; Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Paul. LeBron James’ wife’s maiden name is Savannah Brinson. They have had two boys and one girl. One of their kids’ names is LeBron James Jr. and he was born on October 6, 2004. Bryce Maximus James was born on June 14, 2007. The girl, Zhuri James was born on October 29, 2014. LeBron did not go to college. LeBron went straight to the NBA after high school. LeBron went to high school at St Vincent St Mary in Akron Ohio. When LeBron went back to the Cavaliers he wanted to have Mark Jackson coach. Mark Jackson ended up not coaching the Cavaliers but Tyronn Lue coached them. One of LeBron’s struggles is his team lost four games in a row so he thinks he stinks. I think he should stop being hard on himself just because he lost four games in a row. In 2012, he USA Basketball Male Athlete of the Year. LeBron won the McDonald's All-American game in 2003. LeBron has helped other people by rescuing urban school kids when they need it.
