Before you begin, you need to become comfortable with holding the pole. Your dominant hand will be closer to the top of the pole and act as the engine, moving you forward, in your jump. Your non dominant hand will be closer to the middle, acting as the steering wheel. You may find it interesting that firemen and pole dancers make out to be the great pole vaulters, because they are so familiar with poles. The approach is the driving force of the vault itself.…

My dad has taught me about the game. I know that there are five players per team on the ice. The players will run into or hit as they say another player to off set the player's position and or to take the puck away from the other player. One time, a player checked a guy into the boards, and I had to look away because it looked like a really bad hit. The other guy shook it off and went right back at the puck.…

Having been one of the most decorated athletes and best lacrosse player to come out of my high school, my personal goal was to play Division I college lacrosse. You can image my personal satisfaction when I signed on to play Division 1 lacrosse in college. I thought there was nothing else I wanted to do for the next four years. With winter sports being colder than any other seasonal sports, you must wear extra layers to stay warm because of the snow and temperature. The winter sport I have found interesting to talk about is snowboarding. Before you snowboard, you must have the right gear such as a snowboard helmet, gloves, goggles, padded shorts &/or pants, Body Armor, wrist guards, knee pads, and elbow pads.…
