In Ceramics class, you explore many different cultures and how they use clay. Therefore, you learn about a few unique historical sculptures. In fact, have you ever heard of the Terracotta Army? It is an 8,000 soldier army, 130 chariots with 520 horses, and 150 cavalry horses all made from clay and it was buried in the ground until it was discovered in 1974 in China. Even if you are having a horrible day; the class will always cheer you up. It will make you jubilant because when you take your project out; you just smile because you have worked so hard on it you don't want to ruin it. Thus, you are extremely careful, and it just makes you happy of what you can make from your own two hands. The class is also fun because the teacher Mrs. Ayers,at Jay County High School lets you make anything out of clay as long as you work hard and do your work diligently. So if you don’t take Ceramics now I might just die inside because it is such a fun class, and you would be missing out.
In conclusion, I believe that everyone should take Ceramics. I mean the class is really fun, you get to keep everything you make, and you get to learn a little history about clay pottery that can be quite facing ting. The neat part about Ceramics class is that you learn how pottery was made, and you even get to try it
