There isn’t an exact reason known why grapes and raisins may cause toxicity, so the safest thing to do is to avoid feeding them to pets.
Garlic and Onions
If eaten in large quantities, all members of the onion family can cause problems in cats and dogs. A small amount of garlic or onion in a sauce may not cause any problems, but eating a whole garlic clove or onion may cause digestive problems and eating these foods on a regular basis may cause anemia. It’s best to talk with your veterinarian before adding garlic or onions to your pets foods.
Fat Trimmings and Raw Meat
Some dogs may be able to occasionally tolerate raw meat or fat trimmings (feeding it to them is not recommended), but when cats ingest raw meat or fat trimmings it may induce vomiting, E.coli or diarrhea. Fat trimmings may also cause pancreatitis in cats. It’s not recommended that cats consume eggs either, as it may lead to salmonella poisoning.
