Pediatricians are medical doctors that specialize in children and their diseases. In the United States alone, there are about 90,000 pediatricians and other doctors that specializes in the treatment of children. On average, each pediatrician treats about 800 kids. Many families have at least one pediatrician that they visit when their children are sick and most patients are treated by a pediatrician until age 16, or sometimes until they reach adulthood. Oftentimes, they have to deal with troublesome kids and demanding patients. They often walked between the lines of meeting a patient’s demands and violating the laws. Under the influence of internet and cultures, patients or the family member may ask for medications or treatments that may be illegal. When doctors do not meet their requests, families threaten to sue doctors. Basically, if a doctor rejects the family’s request, he or she gets sued; if he or she agrees to give the patient medications that is unlawful or against the hospital’s contract, he or she gets sued. So either way, doctors are always in big trouble. From this interview, I learned that it takes four years of medical school and three years of training with kids to become a pediatrician. In the future, I do not think that I will become a pediatrician, because I cannot work in a loud environment and I cannot deal with younger kids. However, I might proceed in medical field or researching for the reason that I do care about the human
