Next, is in depth the perfect develope. First, they lift their leg at a 45˚, have your leg straight, foot pointed, your leg not hyperextended, but turned out. Oh by the way that was just for legs, next is the arms, then the rest of your body like your core, and head. Stick out your arms one on each side and round them like you’re hugging a giant tree, tuck your thumbs so people in front of you can’t see it, slightly curve all your fingers, slightly straighten your pointer finger, stand up straight, slightly lift your head, engage your core, support your arms with your back, drop your shoulders and put your nicest smile on your face, hold this for a minute and then slowly let down your leg so it doesn’t make a sound. This is what dancers do on a day to day basis, not just in a performance but in class and rehearsal.
I hope that you now know why dance should be a sport. Dance should be is a sport because it pushes you to your limits, it follows the definition of a sport and is very much like any other

That’s not even half of what cheerleading is. If you don’t consider that a sport, then hopefully I can give you some insight why me along with many others around the nation consider cheer a sport.…

The definition of the word sport describes robotics perfectly. Robotics also parallels other official sports, and much like other sports, robotics requires a great deal of skill and strategy.…

“When your music begins, you will be in competition mode.” I took a deep breath, it was showtime. I was introduced to the world of competitive dance in August of 2011 and ever since, dance has been the outlet for all of my emotions. As time elapsed, I persevered through challenging ten hour practices and the taunting of my peers.…

A well known argument is “Whether cheerleading is a sport or not”. There are two types of cheerleading. The first type of cheerleading is “side line cheer” which is cheering at sport events to pump up the crowd and keep the team and fans’ “school spirit” up. This is not considered a sport because it doesn 't take a lot of effort, just a lot of dedication and good memorization skills. It also does not fit the definition of a sport.…
