Hi guys, I’m Jack! There is nothing better from the Mad March rather than the Adelaide Fringe. So, today, I’m going to talk about my experience about Adelaide Fringe Festival this year. The Adelaide Fringe festival runs every year from the 18th of February to 18th of March and it’s the biggest ticket selling arts festival with free entrance into the showgrounds! Most years, I attend the fringe together with my family and friends for a fun night out.

She discusses many of the shared anxieties everyone have about getting older, and the expectations placed on us as we reach certain ages. York discusses some deeply personal experiences on her journey into adulthood; such as getting engaged at 19, racked up parking fines worth a house deposit, holding down a job, paying bills on time, cooking your meals (that doesn't involve Maccas drive-thru) and even doing your taxes. Although, when time reaching 25 year old and still not feeling quite ready to have kids or at least considering getting married, and with all other deliberations, it means you haven’t mastered Adulting yet! She then introduces these confessions with hilarious one-liners and witty insights. York has this remarkable voice and the ability to use it at lightning speed whilst improvising, croons, belts out and, even raps her way through the 55 minute singing satire. There are a few depressions in the show’s pace and comedic tempo towards the last half, however it can’t help but admiring the textural, layered quality that has been put into each and every piece of songs throughout the …show more content…
Everyone else was just as in love with the show ‘Adulting’ as with Task York’s fabulous voice and talent. And then all too soon the night drew to an end. A heart wrenching, soul breaking song drew the show to a close with a twist. With tears and laughter in my eyes, I clapped until my hands hurts. Wishing that the night would never end. I found myself caught in an emotional and breathtaking show. Through music that was beyond my imaginations. I imagined the struggle that York was creating and I was enchanted by her every lyric, every movement and longed for that cherished eye contact. I listened as York empathetically addressed her audience. The pain of her own stories of becoming an adult was just as plain in her
