Ever walk down the street and see someone ask for money and then around the corner there are more people doing the exact same thing? There are 100 million homeless world wide and California is one of the states that has the most homeless. But how is it that people get to the point where they lose everything and end up in the streets? What can we do about it?

I’ve read several articles about women faking being homeless and and who their children to help gather money from people. Why do people think it is okay to fake being homeless to get a couple of bucks that people worked so hard for? Also people who are homeless tend to ask for money and say that it is for food when they actually spend it on drugs and alcohol. People fake being homeless or that ask for money to buy drugs or alcohol get in the way of people trying to help the ones who really need help. This is why some people feel sceptical about giving their change to homeless because their doubts on whether or not they are going to spend it on food or drugs and alcohol.

But how do they get into this situation? What can we do to help the people in need in our
