Analysis of PayPal PayPal is an online payment system that utilizes encrypted software. Users can make purchases, receive money for goods and services sold, or simply pay someone back, without sharing their banking information. Users can link a credit card or a bank account to their PayPal account; they can also transfer funds to their PayPal account and utilize the money in that account. This information system stores and maintains recent activity and historic activity on the account. Companies such as EBay, Apple, Express, Target and many other companies allow the use of PayPal on their websites.
