In a today’s highly competitive business environment and significantly improved technologies, information management has become more dynamic and changeable. It demands more flexible approach to a strategic business management from organizations, and also it requires carrying out periodic goals and tasks corrections, organizational structure improvement, revision of centralization extent of key functions, and also change of personnel involvement and motivation system (Krivtsov, 2016). Information management (IM) is an emerging field that is concerned with the infrastructure used to collect, manage, preserve, store and deliver information and the guiding principles that allow information to be available to the right people at the right time. IM also allows businesses to view that all information, both digital and physical, which requires an experienced management team. The growth and financial success of large corporations such as Starbucks depends on managers and executives to be able to be able to make timely decisions and react quickly to changes in the marketplace and/or security concerns.
