Social class tells where a person lies in the spectrum of classes such has lower class, lower middle class, middle class, upper middle class, and upper class. People who face poverty go through a lot of struggle in their lives. Poverty reduces opportunities for education, and lack of education make it difficult for a person to get out of poverty and make it hard for them to change their class and go higher in a social class. The money difference between the upper class and lower class in the social class in the United States has a vast difference.
