This is a cookbook for people who have little money to spend on food. Every recipe they provide is under $2.50 per serving, this would feed a family of four for $10 or under. They cover the very basics, from how to store food and how to buy food the cheapest ways possible. They also cover the “Healthy Heart Visual Food Guide”, this is an effective and easy to understand visual about what foods should be consumed in what amount. The healthy eating tips provided are very clear and easy to understand, so people from all backgrounds can use this cookbook. “Cheap eats” covers healthy switches for unhealthy foods and also explains the nutritional panels of food packages and what to should look out for. They have included how to cook foods such as rice and pasta, so people of all cooking backgrounds can use this cookbook. Making it inclusive for all of society.
