Many people depend on the Internet and technology because the Internet plays an important role in our lives today (Walker 1). Technology makes life extremely easy and speeds up the process of accomplishing goals. For instance, talking on the phone instead of having to send written letters, or googling a question without having to look up information in a book. The Internet teaches humans information that wasn’t already understood. Technology has also enabled humans to strengthen and maintain relationships, by keeping in close contact with friends or relatives. The Internet has provided opportunities all across the globe. Children who maintain work schedules and families are able to receive an education online.
