Singers like Whitney Houston and Celine Dion sold over fifteen million copies for love songs like “I Will Always Love You” and “My Heart Will Go On”, proving people are very into the romantic side of music. The music industry can change the way many people view relationships, love, and people in general. People always have said you can tell a lot about a person by the type of music they listen to; stating the music you listen to will affect how you act in your social life. For example, if you listen to “Just the Way You Are” by Bruno Mars you may appreciate women more than listening to “Bitches Ain’t Shit” by Snoop Dogg which can depict a very dark view on women. To a young boy growing up that listens to either of these artists may change his view on women forever. If the boy listens to too much of Bruno Mars he may be too soft towards women when they want a little of that rugged and tough factor in a man, but if he listens to too much Snoop Dogg he might grow up with no respect towards women at all and look at them as objects instead of people.
