Over the years, media has evolved in many positive ways. Media keeps people in touch if they aren't able to stay connected in person. It allows people to obtain information at anytime and have online schooling. Media has effected the citizens in the U.S. In many positive ways. The most effective way that media has impacted us is keeping everyone connected. Social media keeps families that live far away connected so they can stay in touch even when they aren't together. It also keeps families that live together in touch too. For example, if the parents are working late, they can call or text their children to ride the bus to their grandparents house. If you become friends with an exchange student that will be leaving soon, you will still be able to stay connected through the many ways of social media. People who have graduated high school, moved away, gone off to college, or haven't been in touch for many years, are now able to connect with each other again.
