Our Moroccan society is one of the most societies believing in attitudes and stereotypes. People hold attitudes about any type of people according to their culture and education. Popular Moroccan culture employs all the possible methods to spread and sustains these attitudes and stereotypes, and this task is much easier using means of communication and especially social media. Attitudes can be positive or negative, but in the Moroccan society, most attitudes and stereotypes are created to reflect the bad side of all types of people (men, women, children, foreigners…). These attitudes reflect all the aspects of the Moroccan culture: gender relation, education, religion…

They are the ones who have to take care of the financial situation of the family, they have to go outside and work. In our society, everyone who doesn’t have a job is not considered as a man. They are also believed to drop all responsibilities on women. In addition to that, they are considered to be unloyal and also having affairs with other women in a society where marriage is an important life milestone.
There is also many developed attitudes and stereotypes about children, they don’t care about studying, they are always using means of communication and new technologies in a bad way by spending all their time playing video games and chatting on Facebook. Also, they become too mature too quickly and they are becoming more and more aggressive due to watching violence movies and playing war video games.
In addition to that, even old people are affected by some stereotypes. For example, they are said to be very strict in their behaviour, they don’t change their routine for any reason. They are always giving advice to other people and they think that they know everything about life and they have many experiences. Also, they love calm and hate nonserious
