“If you are attracted to someone by pure love, you would love them no matter how they look.” - Beanie Sigel. In the novel “Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare, the relationship between Romeo and Juliet was a love relationship. They always say how much they love one another and the both of them are willing to die to be with each other in heaven.
Both Romeo and Juliet express their love for each other whenever they can. When Romeo leaves Juliet’s chamber, he says “Farewell! I will omit no opportunity that may convey my greeting, love, to thee” (60). Romeo said he loves her so much that he will always talk to her when ever he has the chance. If he only liked her because of her looks, he wouldn’t show so much emotion because there are many people who look good. Juliet expresses her love and connection towards Romeo by saying “O, think’st thou we shall ever meet again” (60)? To Juliet, just the idea that they might not ever see each other again really makes her sad. Like when Romeo said “Here’s to my love! [Drinks poison.] O true apothecary! Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die” (87). Romeo thought that Juliet was dead and didn’t want to live without Juliet so he ended his life. Also like when Juliet said “Yea, noise? Then I’ll be brief. O happy dagger! [Snatching Romeo’s dagger.] This is thy sheath {Stabs herself}; there rust, and let me die. {Falls on Romeo’s body, and dies}” (88).
