Teachers can toddlers by giving them choices whenever possible not to many maybe two or three things to choose from. You want to set up the environment to offer too many opportunity for the toddler to be in control such as independent activates. These young toddler are very busy they are watching what the people around them are doing. When toddlers getting walking down they learn new skills like jumping and throwing, they even make riding toys go by pushing them with their feet. At the toddler they love to tear paper and make lots of noise. Toddlers loves to hear stories and to see pictures of themselves and their family. Toddlers teacher do a lot of talking, listening and asking questions. Toddler’s teachers talk to children about past, present and future, they help the children expand their ideas and the teachers talks in complete sentence, she also introduces new words and ask children question to make them think. I really thought the Nap time routine was very interesting and something that I try with my own child. The caregiver establish a transition routine into nap time predictable sequence of events and a change in the environment. It starts with a reading a story then placing the cots on the floor, then the children gets their blankets and lights are turned off while soft music plays in the background.
