Inexcusable The book, Inexcusable, is based off a story of a boy named Keir Sarafian and his views of being a “good guy.” But, as a reader goes more into depth, the realization that Keir is not what he claims to be due to his actions which resulted in ruining relationships through his family and through the person he “loves,” Gigi Boudakian. There are some common themes found throughout the book that relate to issues not only found in our book, Gendered Worlds, but also found throughout society. One of the most common themes in the book was victim- blaming. Victim blaming is defined as when a criminal act occurs (like rape) and the victim is held partially or fully responsible for the crime that occurred (US Legal, 2015). We see this all
