Looking back on the events where I fell into inevitable failure, nothing stands out to me more than the time I nearly failed pre-algebra in middle school. To be honest, while that awkward 7th grade me focused more on getting others to know my name, I wasn't focusing on the workload or taking notes in class and we all know what happens next. F's, F's, and more F's smacked me in my face, but of course I didn't have any regard of it. Instead I was trying to be popular (which you and I both know wasn't going to happen), and pretending to be someone else. This could be characterized as many small fails inside one, humongous fail.
