Although some of these new ideas may be beneficial, not all of them are morally right. This could mostly be defined by the fact that a lot of religious people would be upset at the fact that scientists would be trying to “play God”. If cloning were to affect humans, then how would people react to that? The fact that a new being is created through the method of duplication is outrageous to some people, because how is the clone supposed to be seen since it still is a human being, yet it is not created by birth. Even some chemicals being put into farm foods to make their crop harvest bigger or better could possibly have some long term effects on the consumers. Nowadays GMOs could possibly be a threat, just by some of the chemicals that were used to produce them. This isn’t too big of a protest, but it goes to show how genetic engineering is being used or tested on. In the future, scientists hope to create ways to modify gene structure in humans if they are not able to do so
