First of all, I clarified the definition of low socioeconomic group as people in low market income, poor education, and unemployment (Germov, 2014). When I thought about who can represent the low SES group in Australia, I could come up with indigenous people as the most suitable example because they are mostly born in poverty in consequence of their isolated social situation. International Labour Office (2005) showed that indigenous Australians’ poor literacy and numeracy can cause them to be unemployed and it results in reducing their expenditure on health and safety. These facts helped me to understand strong connection between poverty related to low education level and health. Germov (2014) explained that poverty is a certain inequitable family history, which causes unavoidable health disadvantage. Another viewpoint is that disability can be connected with poverty due to low social status, stigma and the loss of paid work. The disabled with physical impairments or mental health issues are generally on condition that is unable to work (Rasell & Smirnova, 2013). According to these concepts, I can presume that both poverty and disability are the features that cannot be changed by human’s effort. Based on that thought, I could establish new conception that belief of low SES groups that the poverty and disability are unable to fix might
