“The Stolen Party” is about Rosaura and her mom. Her mom needs to be a maid to help them overcome their poverty. One time, Her mom as a maid goes to a rich person’s house and Rosaura becomes friends with their daughter Luciana, doing homework together. Rosaura is invited to the house for Luciana’s birthday, but her mom insisted not to go. She still goes and is teased by Luciana’s cousins when she is seen. At the end of the story, she is admired by each person and rewarded. This story shows at first, Rosaura is faced with inequality from Luciana’s cousins because they knew all of Luciana’s friends but not Rosaura.
