gender. Disappointing right, this is a real world problem that many humans specifically

women will face in their lifetime. In America gender inequality is a huge problem that

usually goes unnoticed. To help make this problem less worse I want people to be

aware of gender inequality and stand up for someone they see being treated differently.

The whole world is full of gender inequality, especially the United States. Did you know

that the U.S. is ranked twentieth globally among one hundred and five countries in

closing their gender gap, it is also estimated that it will take one hundred and seventy

For all the women that actually have good paying jobs

who want to be promoted they will more than likely not be able to make that dream a

reality, because when a manager's promote men they look at potential. However when

managers promote women they look at performance. What makes this bad is that

studies have shown that humans always have more potential to do good things than

they are already doing. With all of this negativity at work women now are having less

kids, just one of afecte of gender inequality. The reason why women are now having

less children is because they are afraid that they will get fired at work, because many

managers fire the pregnant women for fear that they will now be less devoted to their

work and more so to their child. Women having less children means that the birth rate in

America is now down from it healthy two point one and to a unhealthy one point nine. A

two point one is the birth rate we need to steadily repopulate our country.

As a country we are trying to fix gender inequality. A few ways we are fixing it are

Social activities/ programs, technology, and scholarships. Social activities and

Immigrant women who have spent five years in Canada “have almost twice as many children of pre-school age (as) the average Canadian-born woman,” according to an extensive study by two noted economists. The University of Waterloo’s Ana Ferrer and Princeton University’s Alicia Adsera pored over two decades of Statistics Canada census data to reach their conclusion. There are major birthrate differences depending on newcomers’ country of origin: The women who have the highest birthrates tend to be from Africa, Pakistan and India.…

Gender is an aspect of human nature that separates people. I want you to picture in your head, without thinking too much, the first image that appears when you hear the word ‘soldier’. I feel confident enough to say that a very large majority, if not all of you, pictured a man. The iron man standing strong in uniform, proudly representing their country; that’s the picture that Hollywood so willingly displays. Through our televisions and our phones we are shown the depicted version of global military characteristics.…

In 2015, the NWLC reported that “Women in the U.S. who work full time, year round are paid only 80 cents for every dollar paid to men .” In 1963, John F. Kennedy signed the Equal Pay Act that consists of a concept that says that both genders must be paid equally if they work in the same place. After 50 years, this law has yet to be touched since it was first signed, it lacks the power and efficiency to suppress any unequal pay (NWLC).…

Everyone has been saying that our criminal justice system needs to be reformed and yet there hasn’t been much action taken on reform. In order to bring more equality between men and women, there needs to be change in the criminal justice system. The best way to ensure that men and women of all races are treated the same as in the criminal justice system is to not let the defendant in the court. If the judge and jury don’t see, hear or know the name of who they are convicting they won’t be biased and will convict the defendant according to their crime and not their race, gender or sexual orientation. The judge and jury will only see the lawyer who is representing the defendant.…
