Industry Panel Session Reflection

I am writing to you today to inform you about my recent experience at the Degree in Three Industry Panel session, which was held on the Southern New Hampshire University campus on Tuesday November 8, 2016. I intend to talk to you about my overall experience at the panel, including the key speakers, the topics discussed, and some important discussions questions that were asked.
Prior to attending the event I took steps to ensure my own success and the success of the event. I researched the panelist and their industries/companies, identified some potential questions for each, and ensured that my attire and my behavior would be professional and appropriate for the event. Once at the event I checked in and took my seat to prepare for the discussion.

The speakers discussed important point about industry and career success, the main points that the speakers outlined included, persistence, determination, focus, the ability to take risks, effective communication skills, positive thinking, asking questions, as well as the ability to be patient and believe. Along with these important aspects that help to ensure personal and profession success there was one main factor that was identifiable with all six speakers, and that is the importance of hard work. According to the speakers, whether working in marketing, operations, or management, the ability and understanding that hard work is the one thing that will lead to success is the most important key that professionals young and old must master and be aware of. The speakers explained that throughout their careers, they have found success and they have found failure, whether it was starting a new company, changing jobs, investing in startup, or anything else, that if you work hard, and your company works hard, then success will be guaranteed.
