To understand the impact of industrialization I am going to explore Reconstruction, De Jure Segregation, and The Great Migration. During the reconstruction period, African Americans experienced a time of relief from oppression and exploitation so they began to register to vote, run for office, open school, and purchase land (Morra, 2018).
