Our early ancestors started off living such a simple life starting with only a few people going out and gathering wild plants and hunting small animals. Then as the population grew we started trying to gather more food and such so we started hunting bigger animals and planting our own crops in large quantities. The need for more food started the need for a bigger and better and faster way of life so then we eventually started putting bigger corporations in charge and then we slowly started building a more efficient economy. Then in the 1800s and the Industrial Revolution the world had been consuming at a higher rate than ever.
