The Industrial Revolution began in Great Britain during the 18th century and migrated to America before ending in the 19th century. (History.com). It began at home where most manufacturing was done using hand tools and basic machinery(History.com). The production process was very slow and usually a small group of people would manufacture products. The population grew due to new job opportunities and urbanization in Great Britain and America.
