Industrial Revolution In The 1800's

“The industrial revolution in the new century is in essence, a scientific, and technological revolution, and breaking through the cutting edge is a shortcut to the building of an economic giant” Before the Industrial Revolution the 1800’s, mostly all goods were either produced by hand or farmers . Later on, people invented machines that could replace goods made by hand, and their lives also changed in factories to produce goods. There were also new ways of transportation and communication that developed over time. New inventions that were created also changed the way of life, and also led to an economic boost in the industrial revolution. New inventions in the North led to boom in the industry because the creations of the steamboat, spinning & weaving machines, and the telegraph. Later on inventors began to create machines that took over hand weaving. Long before sewing and weaving machines were developed, people used to purchase the cloth from wholesale outlets and weave the fabric of the clothes themselves instead. Many inventors created different and more developed machines each time. Some inventions that were the Spinning Jenny by James Hargreaves, Spinning Mule invented by Samuel Compton, and the Cotton Gin by Eli Whitney. Afterwards, textile manufacturers had built large factories to produce cloth which became cheap and abundant. As cloth became more available at fair costs, the demand for clothing became high. The increase in demand lead to a positive effect of expansion of business, and to discover more forms of technology.Since inventors began to develop machines that can sow the cloth together without the use of hands, the demand in clothing rises which bring in profit for businesses ,and offered many job
