Delicious. McDonalds, Wendys, Burger King, and more. All of these fast food restaurants are all examples of the Industrial Food Chain. How often do you have fast food? Probably very often, because these restaurant’s foods taste amazing. Not only does the industrial food chain supply food to fast food restaurants, the food chain also supplies food to most of the super markets around America. The Industrial food chain is the best food chain to feed the U.S. because it is very available, it cost very little to produce and to buy compared to Local Sustainable and the Industrial Organic food chain, and most importantly, it tastes amazing.
How do we make the decision on what to eat? If you are like most people you would base what you eat off of taste, availability, and price. One big factor in deciding where to eat is taste. Nobody goes to a fast-food restaurant to be healthy, they go there because everything tastes amazing. The Local Sustainable food chain is way more expensive and it takes a lot of hard labor. The Industrial Organic food chain is also expensive but not as expensive as the Local Sustainable. Also the Industrial Organic food chain still feeds animals a corn-based meal and they cram animals in feedlots. Finally, the Hunter-Gatherer food chain would not be best to feed America because it takes way too much work to get just one meal and many people who aren’t brave enough to kill an animal would die off.
