Indirect Guidance To Support Child Development

The child that has language disorder I would use indirect guidance and direct guidance to support the child. First way I would teach the child is to use indirect guidance, is I would see where the child is appropriate expatiation based on knowing the child development, then create a environment that will support positive behavior for the child that has language disorder such as give the child: space, time and energy, after that I will create curriculum the engages the whole child (FAM1248,2016). Is when I am teaching the child, I should now where the child is developmentally at before giving the child a challenging task that the child can not do, also I would not over expect the child to have the same ability as his or her other class mate. …show more content…
Supporting the child positive behavior for the child that has language disorder by creating environment that will give the child space, time and energy is to have enough space and material for all the children including the child with a language disorder to move around and have enough materials in class. Also look for the child interest that will support his language disorder such as let’s say the child like to play with the cars. So we would read the child with language disorder about cars and talk about cars “such as what is your favorite car colour” and sing about cars. Also by singing about cars we can put the children in a circle and pass each child a car and we would sing and dance with the children. This will make the child with language disorder feel like he or she have enough space to move around and have energy because he is singing and not feel left out because he is participating with other
