The Myers Briggs type Indicator personality profile is a test, I did online. The results I received after the test was ISFJ. I for introversion that was twelve percent, which means that I am “inward tuning” and tend to be thought oriented, enjoy deep and meaningful social interactions, and feel recharged after spending time alone. Next was S for sensing which was six percent, it means that people who prefer sensing tend to pay a great deal of attention to reality, particularly to what they can learn from their own senses. Third was F meaning feeling that was six percent as well, states that I am more likely to consider people and emotions when arriving at a conclusion. Lastly, J for judging that was twenty-two percent, according to the test it means that I prefer structure and firm decisions.

But I asked if I can see a plastic model of the knee to show me what was exactly wrong. Because I am more of a kinesthetic learner. Being an Auditory and Kinesthetic learner can help me with my academic success is that when I am a nurse and a patient of mine has a question about her being diabetic and if it was to affect her pregnancy. I would arrange a talk for her about the question. Another example, is that if I am a nurse and I had to give an important speech to my coworkers. I would gather many examples and information to make the talk smoothly and efficient. A strategy that I have used before is I asked questions when I don’t understand what I am learning. Also I write down key words that are important. These strategies fit my learning style because in the book “Becoming a Master Student”, talks about when I am studying, to stop often to recite key points and examples in your own words. Being an auditory learner that is something I’ve done

Garret Hunter, INFJ type, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator reflection The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator assessment provided, in my opinion, valuable and interesting information as to what my character can be seen as. Reading through the generated report offered deep insight into some of my characteristics; the test stated that I would find a desirable career where I would have opportunities to express my preferences, be recognized for using national gifts and strengths, and where I would face tasks and problems that are interesting to me. Although these results weren’t shocking, I also found it interesting that it seemed to point me in a direction where I can’t imagine myself being. Before the test I knew that I appreciate being rewarded for my natural…

Ideally, the radar plot of a perfect leader would show a perfect circle without leaning to to one side and showing harsh ridges and indents of shortcomings. However, the only person in history to have the summation of a perfect leader is Jesus Christ. Thus, as fallen and sinful humans, we can expect our plots to lean and reflect our weaknesses. My plot appears to lean more to the left side of the spectrum. The plot presents a valuable visible aid in discerning which characteristics one is more prone to and which areas one is lacking in.…

Self-Assessment Assignment 1.A. Personality Test: Guardians I have already done this kind of test more than twice before, and I always got the same result, which is ISTJ. This website didn’t tell which personality type I have, but they told me I am a Guardian (SJ’s), and ISTJ is one of the four types of Guardians. Many people say that I am very tradition and somewhat conservative, but I am also kind of flexible and open-minded.…

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Essay The Myers-Briggs theory was developed by mother-daughter team, Katharine Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers, as an adaptation to Carl Jung’s psychological types. According to Corey and Schneider Corey (2014), Jung’s theory included that “both constructive and destructive forces coexist in the human psyche, and to become integrated we must accept the shadow side of our nature with our primitive impulses such as selfishness and greed” (p. 11). The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) indicates that individuals fall into one of 16 categories determined by four opposing preferences: (1) the way an individual directs and receives energy- extraversion vs introversion, (2) the way the person prefers to take in information- sensing vs intuition, (3) how one decides and comes to conclusions- thinking vs feeling, and (4) the way the person approaches the outside world- judging vs perceiving (Hirsh & Kummerow, 1998, p. 2). Hirsh and Kummerow (1998) explain that…

One of the classic tools for ‘measuring’ personality types is the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), developed by Isabel Briggs Myers and Katherine Briggs (The Myers & Briggs Foundation, 2016). In this tool which is widely accepted by the psychological community, personality is broken up into four primary components: what ‘world’ do we focus on, how we prefer to process information, how we make decisions, and how we structure information. Expanding on these, the ‘world’ concept is defined as either extraversion or introversion, that is to say, whether we look outside ourselves for information, or if we prefer to focus on our own inner world. How we process information is divided into sensing and intuition, again the difference being if we take in information from the outside world, or we allow our own feelings or intuition to define things.…
