This is an important stop, because I am very, very, very, very hungry and dehydrated. For some reason, talking about the food we’ll buy at the BP eases the nags. The following week the spring rain was harsh and unrelenting, and accompanied still by the cold tendrils of winter, refusing to blow away. April was slow approaching, March still unrelenting and cruel, though rising from the freezing thirties into the chilly but kinder forties; it was still hardly pleasant weather, and with the unpredictability of March in New York City, was just as likely to plunge down the next day. Will had come to learn that volatility in times of bad weather was best for business…

One person can have a profound effect on another person’s life. In John Green’s Paper Towns, Quentin Jacobsen has lived most of his life loving Margo Roth Spiegelman, from a distance. Margo is the kind of person that seems too good to be true, a wonder who spends her life in constant excitement and adventure. So when one night she crawls in through his window late at night summoning him out on an eleven part plot of revenge, he follows. Throughout the book, Margo becomes responsible for pulling Q out of the monotony of his existence, teaches him the value of his friends, and brings him around to realizing just how much illusion there is to life.…

Green’s literary enthusiasts found that his book was driven into an unintelligible wreckage in 20th Century Fox’s rendition of the mysterious and romantic story. While there are not many movies that exactly resemble their paper counterpart, this switch from paperback to the movie screen was just as much a switch of the entire plot. In the book, Green writes about Margo Roth Spiegelman’s last night with Quentin, or Q to his friends, involving eleven different adventures. While some of these adventures are simply revenge, they all help to bring Q out of his shell and make him more confident in himself.…
