As important as saving money is for all us, when you choose to support a shelter instead of a breeder, you are making a decision to take a stand against the unnecessary, inhumane and irresponsible puppy breeding.
The idea of producing more dogs to meet the demands of people who are willing to pay thousands of dollars for a purebred puppy while there are thousands of dogs waiting in overcrowded shelters is incredibly irresponsible.
