The results from the first experiment confirmed the hypothesis, to a certain extent, in that increasing stimulus strength will increase the force generated by the gastrocnemius muscle and visa versa till 0.2V, where the force germinated starts to decrease. As shown in Table 2 and Figure 2, the strength of the stimulus started from 0.00 V to 1.00V with 0.05 V and 0.10V intervals. At 0.10V the force generated by the muscle increases rapidly from 0mN to 288.33mN. The force generated by the muscle continues to increase to 699.99mN at 0.15V until the stimulus strength reaches 0.2V. However after this amount of stimulus is applied, the force generates starts to slowly decrease all the way to 496.33 at 1V stimulus applied. Whereas, increasing stimulus interval to the B.marinus gastronemius muscle will decrease peak contractile force. As shown in Table 5 and Figure 4, the stimulus intervals started from 1000msec to 25msec with 0.25msec, 0.5msec and 100msec interval gaps. From average of the three trials conducted, from 1000msec decreasing to 100msec of stimulus intervals, the peak contractile force steadily and slowly increased. However, from 100msec to 50msec of stimulus intervals, the peak contractile force rapidly increased from 732.66mN to 975.33mN. The steadiness of increase in peak contractile force returns to its normal pattern from 50msec to 25msec from a slow increase of 975.33mN to 982.33mN. The graph demonstrates this inversely proportional relationship of the decrease in stimulus intervals as the peak contractile forces increase (Refer to Figure 4).
