If the incontinence is severe and the patient’s daily life is affected by it, there are several medications that could be use. I have seen three medications thats could be use for incontinence. The first one is DDAVP (desmopressin), this medication interacts with the antidiuretic hormone by increasing the production of it, that way more fluid could be retained. The other two are Cogentin and imipramine which both have an anticholinergic affects. One of the most common effects in anticholinergic agents is urinary retention (Saks, Wiebe, Cory, Sammel & Arya,
