America the split nation Money has become everything to us in recent years. Our happiness no longer matters nor does our content. Everything is about how much we earn. Then there is the dispute of income inequality between males and females: who makes more, and who deserves to make more. The answer is simple; whoever does the best at their job deserves to be paid more. However some people have more opportunities than others. This dispute has divided us into groups of several different categories. Such as race, gender, or social placement, but regardless, higher wages should go to the people that are doing the best work for the greatest purpose. Women and men should be paid the same amount. Yes, Yes because equality among the gender is good but the field of work is totally different. Like for instance women are usually thought of as teachers or nurses or even babysitters. The type of work that prepares the future generation, while men are usually thought of as construction workers or builders or any other job that requires heavy lifting. The truth is that any person with determination can do any type of work. So importance is not an issue in this matter, both are equally important. During his run for office David Cameron states that he will “end the gender pay gap in this generation”. This means that no matter that no matter what the issue gender will not affect it. He also adds that when companies give raises or bonuses that they will be biased towards men, when clearly the big picture needs to be looked at not what gender you are.
