The media is like a shepherd herding all of its sheep. The shepherd, or press, portray the person of their choosing how they would like and their sheep, or readers and followers, believe it all. Thus, they influence their whole audience to think like them over time. In doing so, it gives media a power over the people that most people don't even notice. A great policy to make would be that the press has to say what the person says, in the context they say it.
