Studies have shown that when used consistently and correctly, condoms are highly effective in preventing sexually transmitted diseases during vaginal, oral, or anal intercourse. They are also effective in preventing pregnancy. Abstaining abstinence is an excellent way to prevent sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancy, however, it is not the only alternative. Condoms can give you the same benefits as abstinence when it comes to the preventions of STD’s or pregnancy. They are just as great for peole who may not neccessairly want to wait for marriage to have sexual intercourse or people who are not neccessairly ready to have chidren. Safe-sex sexual is defined as n activity in which people take precautions to protect themselves against sexually transmitted diseases. Some of the more famous std’s are Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Hepatitis, Herpes, HIV/AIDS, and Syphilis. They repeat that several times in the movie because they want he viewers to know that no matter how much you love the person, or how long you’ve been with them, or how much or think you know the person’s past, you should always keep yourself protected.
