It’s anything but difficult to ridicule individuals with their fixation of low fat, low carb, gluten and whatever sorts of eating routine is out there. Everybody is fleeing or running toward new and enhance count calories that claim to better individuals life and spare them from a wide range of diseases brought on by the same eating regimen they are fleeing from. Disease such as diabetes, obesity, cancer and heart disease are constantly on the rise due to our diet, with the rise of such disease, weight loss industry are also on the rise and due to modern medicine we have been able to surpass our ancestor life span. How do we stop all these metabolic diseases that our body is not yet accustomed to and help increase our lifespan without …show more content…
They failed to understand that genetics is only part of what make us, the food we eat and how we eat it, is also at play when the truly understanding disease such as heart disease. People from all over the world have different food that their body is accustom to, If there is a drastic change in the food then different disease would slowly appear. Let’s take our ancestor, for example, they were hunters and gathers. No, refine product were present in their food and the way they get that food was their exercise. Individuals need to stop focusing on each little detail on the food and focus on the food overall to help increase their life span. Each ethnic group is prone to different disease that the Heart disease conundrum is trying to convey, but with a little research on the ethnic group, its hard to say what our causes it and how to decrease our chances of this. In the book in Defense of food, a research was done by Kerin O’Dea to prove that the western lifestyle (process food, carbs and beverages etc.) was the main reason with having all this different disease. She took ten Aborigines from their western lifestyle to their native lifestyle for seven weeks and show the result of that change. All of them lost weight and most of their metabolic disease went down, not just because of the way they ate, but their lifestyle of exercise and finding their food also took major effect on
