Anne Frank once stated that, "In spite of everything, I still believe people are really good at heart." These were the words she had written in her diary days right before she was captured and taken away to a concentration camp. Anne Frank was one of the many Jewish people who went into hiding during the Holocaust. Her family and the Van Daan's lived together in the Annex. They were all one-day captured and taken to concentration camps. The only one that survived was Otto Frank, Anne's father. Anne's diary was later discovered by the woman who was hiding the Franks in the first place, Miep Gies. After her father had read it, he was so astonished that he later had it published. Her memory now lives on and her diary was, and still is today, an inspiration to us all. One of Anne's most famous quotes is, "In spite of everything, I still believe people are really good at heart." From this quote, you can pick out a couple things about her personality and her spirit.

Anne Frank was and still is an inspiration to many people all around the world. The Holocaust was one of the most tragic events to have ever happened in history, and it's a shame that one of the people taken by it was a young inspiration. Although she passed away at such a young age, her memory still lives on today. She was truly and inspiration to us all in many aspects.
