People change, each new experience can impact a person or character one way or another. These changes can be good at times and bad at others. These experiences are what shapes one’s personality, life, and outlook. These experiences help to shape one’s personality in a major way. In the book In Real Life a memoir by Joey Graceffa he shares his experiences and how they affected his personality, life, and outlook on life. There have many situations that have affected Joey’s personality. One situation is when Joey was younger and his parents got divorced. One of the major experiences that changed his outlook on life is when he was able to live on his own with a successful job. When Joey was younger he had a very tough childhood and things weren't always great in his household. Now, Joey has a nice house, a good job, and fans that care about him. This experience of his life going from bad to good has changed his outlook on life. Firstly, it has given him a more hopeful outlook on certain situations in his life. If something isn't going great he knows from experience that things can change and the situation can become better. Secondly, it has given him a more grateful outlook on life. Because Joey knows what it is like to have a tougher lifestyle he is more grateful for the great life he has now. Lastly, Joey has a more empathetic outlook on life.
